Luis M. C. Acosta has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry. He holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (2000). He accomplished his Master of Science in 2004 (ITA) with the work "A Method for Deriving Performance Indicators for Product Development Processes". From 2001 to 2018 he worked for more than 10 years at Embraer, in areas such as: Research and development (technology), business strategy, new business and sales. He worked at Honeywell Aerospace as the regional strategic marketing leader. He managed the business incubator at the São José dos Campos Technological Park and served as a business consultant for companies from multiple industries. From 2018 onwards he worked in the space sector (INPE) and founded Acosta Aerospaço Ltda., which is engaged in the development of a constellation of nanosatellites for IoT communication in remote areas, especially agriculture.
