Birthplace: Brazil

I work with science communication, where I started individually with social networks and independent production on my channel (Focus on Science?), Created in 2017, where I try to disseminate science and also critically express an opinion on the social issues that mediate scientific practice and also its theoretical and methodological development. In 2019 I participated in UNICAMP's scientific dissemination projects, voluntarily, such as Science Blogs at Unicamp and Mandakaru. In 2020 I was part of an initiative by Rede ComCiência, the Brazilian Network of Journalists and Science Communicators, developed during the pandemic to promote access to the vulnerable population through audiocasts (short audios for Whatsapp). The project was presented at the Virtual Forum and American Hispanic of scientific journalism: WhatsApp as a source of diffusion of scientific information and at the Science Journalism Forum 2020. At the end of 2020, I participated voluntarily with the edition of the roadshow of the AGITS (Agency for Technological and Social Innovation of UNIFESP) podcast aimed at discussing topics related to innovation in the context of the university. In all cases I worked mainly as an editor, and in my social media project I also act as a producer, with more than 3 years of experience on platforms like YouTube; in the niche of scientific dissemination and critical opinionated content, of a pedagogical, historical and social nature, which well defines the way I produce my content and the area that I have the most affinity (and interest) in developing future projects and research. My technical editing experience includes the production and editing of videos, audios, images and basic animations using Adobe licensed software. Biological sciences course at UNESP in Rio Claro, starting in 2017. I worked as an intern in the zoology department, working with the organization of entomological collections, in 2017, and in 2019 I was monitor of the disciplines of Invertebrates I and II. I worked as a biology teacher in the popular voluntary course Oriente-se, in Rio Claro, from 2019 to the beginning of 2021. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
