Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Centro de Estudos de Energia e Petróleo (CEPETRO)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I am a current Ph.D. student in Reservoir Engineering and Management at the University of Campinas (Unicamp). Master of Science (MS) in Petroleum Reservoir Engineering and Management at Unicamp (2021), and graduated in Petroleum Engineering at the Federal University of Sergipe (class of 2016.2) with studies at Saint Francis University (Loretto-PA, USA) during the Brazilian Mobility Program (Capes 2014-2015). Currently, I am a FAPESP scholarship holder in a Ph.D. internship at Texas A&M University (College Station, TX-USA). The Ph.D. objective is the application of machine learning techniques in the numerical production optimization applied to typical Brazilian pre-salt reservoirs. During my master's degree, I developed a methodology to better represent new wells in dual permeability simulation models of fractured reservoirs (software: Petrel and CMG). The undergraduate internship was executed at ENGEPET (Petroleum Engineering Company) by studying and modeling the heat transfer of a steam injector well (software: Ansys CFX). During my stay at Saint Francis University, I engaged in a summer internship to perform geological modeling of shale formations in Ohio?s State (software: Petrel). During my undergrad I also worked as a volunteer at the Progeology laboratory, assisting the students with reservoir modeling and simulation (software: Petrel, RMS, and Tempest), and worked as a volunteer and a scholarship holder at the LTA laboratory studying different subjects, such as patent prospection, drilling fluids and treatment of produced water. Interpersonal skills include leadership skills, group work, and public speaking, skills that have been developed mainly through my involvement with social services. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
