Birthplace: Brazil

I am currently a PhD student in Food Science at School of Food Engineering - FEA from University of Campinas UNICAMP Brazil. School of Food Engineering is a pioneer in Latin America in its area of operation and is recognized as a center of excellence by leading Brazilian research assessment. I have a renowned São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) research grant that is only awarded to students who meet the foundation's excellence criteria. I am a food technologist (2017) and have a master's degree in Food Technology both from the Federal University of Technology Paraná (2019). I also have experience as a food analyst acquired for 3 years (2015-2018) in a Brazilian coffee industry from COAMO Agro-Industrial Cooperative, a Brazilian company recognized as the largest cooperative in Latin America, where my master's thesis was conducted. In my PhD course I am working with quality control of Brazilian coffees with geographical indication. I became finalist in a Brazilian entrepreneurship program called "Transform your Research into Business", where I presented a business model (startup) based on spectral analysis solutions for the coffee industry 4.0. I develop methods based on spectrochemistry and use of mobile devices in combination with chemometrics in the field of Food Science and Technology, focusing on real-time monitoring of products and processes in the industry. I also use chemometrics for food information extraction, mainly in chemical, physical and sensory characterization studies. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
