Valéria is currently an undergraduate student of Social Sciences in the University of São Paulo. She is undertaking her scientific initiation, titled "Financial market and sustainability: a case study of the emission of green bonds by Brazil's national development bank", with a grant first by CNPq and later by Fapesp. She participated for two years in the research project titled "Land and financial capital at the agricultural frontier of central-northern Brazil", which had one publication, with a grant by the University of São Paulo. She has a special interest in environmental sustainability and investigates, along with development sociology, studies on economic development, climatology and ecology. She was also a voluntary teacher of human sciences and writing at a preparatory course for low-income college applicants, and worked as an English teacher at Wizard by Pearson from August to December/2017. She attended an Architecture and Urbanism undergraduate course for one year in 2015. She concluded a 3-year technical course on programmable digital systems in 2013. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
