Head of Drug Discovery at the Brazilian Biosciences National Laboratory (LNBio/CNPEMCampinas, SP). Graduated in Biological Sciences (2003) with Master in Biotechnology (2006) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, PhD in Sciences from the University of Sao Paulo (2010) and pos-doctoral research at the Institute of Chemistry, UNICAMP (2010-2013), at the University of California at San Diego (2012) and at the University of Nottingham (2015-2016). Her main scientific interests is are on the discovery of novel bioactive natural products, protein allosteric modulators and their development into new drugs. Develops new tools for the discovery, characterisation and production of new natural products and customised derivatives for drug discovery projects with the Academia and Industry.
