Complete bachelor's degree in Biomedicine at the Federal University of Paraná and Master Degree in Pharmacology at the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo. During her Master's worked in the field of Psychopharmacology, assessing the effects of antidepressants and cannabinoid drugs in animal models predictive of antidepressant- and anxiolytic-like effects. As an undergratuate, had experience in the study of pharmacology of traumatic neuropathic pain and in comorbidities and complications associated to diabetes. Also took part in research projects emphasized on the study of the neurobiology of sleep and of the pathophysiology of non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's Disease. Furthermore, the academic formation was complemented by the experience of studying in the Netherlands, at the Radboud University Nijmegen, between September 2013 and August 2014. During this exchange program, had contact with many courses and laboratories in the field of neuroscience. During the Master's, had the opportunity to do an internship at the Neuroscience Division of the Cellular Physiology Institute of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, in Mexico City. In the lab of professor Francisco F. de Miguel, studied cannabidiol pharmacology in leech serotonergic neurons. Currently is a PhD's degree student at the Department of Pharmacology of the Ribeirão Preto School of Medicine, University of São Paulo, acting mainly on the following themes: stress, antidepressants, cannabidiol, endocannabinoid system, NG2, polidendrocytes, neuroplasticity.
