Master's student in Linguistics at the Institute of Language Studies (IEL) of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) since 2021, with support from FAPESP, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Plinio Almeida Barbosa. She is interested in the area of Psycholinguistics and Experimental Phonetics, more specifically in Sign Language Prosody. In her master's project, she works on prosodic analysis of Non-Manual-Expressions in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras). She also graduated in Linguistics at UNICAMP in 2020. When she was a undergrad, she received three Scientific Initiation scholarships, from PRP / FAEPEX, PIBIC / SAE, PIBIC and, later, FAPESP. These Scientific Initiations addressed topics such as Portuguese written by Brazilian deaf people, the difference between the signaling of deaf people and interpreters and facial expressions and body movements in Libras. Still during her graduation, she received an Honorable Mention from the Dean of Research at UNICAMP for her presentation at the XXVII Congress of Scientific Initiation at UNICAMP. She is currently analyzing the production of adjectives in American Sign Language (ASL) at the University of New Mexico (UNM) in the United States, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Erin Wilkinson (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
