Mário Henrique da Mata Martins

PhD in Social Psychology at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), I have also participated in the sandwich program at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). I hold a Master's degree in Social Psychology in PUC-SP, a lato sensu degree in Environmental Management in the University of São Paulo (USP) and holds a BA in psychology from the Federal University of Alagoas, Maceió (UFAL). During graduation, I was a fellow of Tutorial Educational Program (PET) in Psychology at UFAL in which I have developed activities of teaching, research and extension focusing on the interface between Psychology and Public Health Policies and Environmental Policies. In the same period I was a collaborator of the Institutional Program of scientific initiation scholarships (PIBIC). In 2014, I was a Professor of psychology at UFAL/Campus Arapiraca, Palmeira dos Índios Educational Unit, where I taught courses in General Psychology. I have experience in the field of Social Psychology, Health and Environmental Psychology, with emphasis on the following themes: health and environment, social and environmental vulnerability, risk perception and communication, discursive psychology, public policy and disaster.
