Birthplace: Brazil

I study Philosophy at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and I have two main fields of interest: Classical Studies and Ancient Philosophy, and Philosophy of Psychoanalysis. Regarding the first one, I have been studying (advisor: professor Flávio Ribeiro de Oliveira) the concepts of and in Epicurus' Letter to Herodotus, analyzing this text this text in Ancient Greek and translating it to Portuguese - on this topic, I have also been working with professor João Carlos Kfouri Quartim de Moraes. Regarding the latter, I have recently finished my research (funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation, FAPESP, grant #2019/12033-7 and advised by professor Daniel Omar Perez) on the concept of uncanny, primarily discussed by Freud in his text Das Unheimliche, proposing an intersection between this text and another one of Freud's: Der Mann Moses und die monotheistische Religion. Furthermore, at the end of the first semester this year I obtained the "Certificate in Classical Studies: Ancient Greek", granted by Unicamp's Institute of Language, having been studying said language uninterruptedly since the beginning of 2017. Currently I am taking the last course I need to obtain the "Certificate in Classical Studies: Latin" from the same institute. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
