Birthplace: Brazil

Doctoral candidate in Science and Technology/Chemistry at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), where he is developing a project in the area of theoretical chemistry focusing on the study of the electronic structure of photosensitizers through density (TD)DFT and multireferential (CASSCF, CASPT and NEVPT). This current project has an emphasis on photophysical and energy transfer processes relevant to photodynamic therapy (PDT). Bachelor in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). During his undergraduate studies, he worked in the fields of computational photochemistry and quantum chemistry as a CNPq fellow in two research projects in which (TD) DFT methodologies were used to evaluate the optical and spectroscopic properties of photoreceptor macromolecules (phthalocyanines). In addition, he worked in the areas of nanotechnology and electrochemistry, also on a CNPq scholarship, in another research project that studies and develops the production of nanocomposites between NTC and Prussian Blue through a route that encompasses two-phase systems and electrosynthesis and electrodeposition, aiming at application in nanosensors.
