Guilherme Martins Pereira

Graduated in Chemistry (2013) and holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo (2018), he is currently a post-doctoral candidate in Atmospheric Sciences linked to the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences at the same university (2019-currently). He has experience in studies related to atmospheric pollution, using chemical markers of pollution sources, including emissions from anthropogenic sources (vehicular and biomass burning) and the application of receptor models to apportion these sources. He took part in internships at the Finnish Meteorological Institute (Helsinki, Finland), at the Federal University of Bahia (Salvador, Brazil), and the University of Surrey (Guildford, United Kingdom).
