Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (1982), master's degree in Animal Science from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1991) and doctorate in Animal Science - Animal Quality and Productivity from the University of São Paulo (2008). He is currently a level VI scientific researcher at the Zootechnics Institute. She has experience in the areas of Zootechnics and Preventive Veterinary Medicine, with an emphasis on Animal Production and disease control, acting mainly in the alternative control of the tick Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus, and other parasites of animals of zotechnical interest.
