Fernanda Silva e Sousa has a Bachelor's Degree in Languages and Literature at the University of Sao Paulo and is a PhD Student in the departament of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature at the University of Sao Paulo, with a FAPESP fellowship, where she is developing a dissertation about the diaries written by Lima Barreto and Carolina Maria de Jesus in dialogue with the song "Negro drama", by Racionais MCs.
