Alan Ferreira Pinheiro Tavares

He is currently working as a doctoral researcher at (CREATHUS) Instituto de Tecnologia da Amazônia, he worked as a development at the company Acta Robotics in the area of robotic devices, autonomous navigation and computer vision. He completed a doctorate at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (FEM-UNICAMP) in the area of robotics. He worked as a guest researcher at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP-UP) in partnership with Startup Connect Robotics. He received a M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Campinas in the area of Vehicle Safety, B.Sc. Degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the State University of Amazonas (EST-UEA). He has experience in mobile robotics, industrial automation, embedded systems, Android application development and child vehicle safety devices. He worked with projects and consultancy for industrial automation and industrial manufacturing for the company Samsung through an agreement with a State University of Amazonas. He worked as a reviewer of the National Congress of Mechanical Engineering (CONEM'2016), as well as the Brazilian Congress of Manufacturing Engineering (COBEF'2017). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
