Nícola Reinaldo Finkler is a PhD. student of Science in Hydraulic and Sanitation Engineering at the São Carlos School of Engineering, University of São Paulo (PPGSHS / EESC / USP). Graduated in Environmental Engineering from the University of Caxias do Sul (2013) and Master of Science from PPGSHS / EESC / USP (2018). Nicolas develops research on ecosystem processes in tropical streams of the Cerrado biome, more specifically about the effect of Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) on macronutients (nitrogen and phosphorus) retention in lotic systems. The research is supervisoned by Prof. Dr. Davi Gasparini Fernandes Cunha and is held at the BIOTACE Laboratory - Biotoxicology Laboratory of Continental Waters and Effluents. He has so far 8 articles published in journals (3 international and 5 national), 1 article accepted for publication in an international journal (publication on jan2020) and 27 papers published in annals of scientific events (abstracts, expanded abstracts and full papers). Has experience in the following areas: Water Quality, Water Resources, Environmental Planning, Solid Waste and Environmental Education.
