Graduated in Biotechnology at the Federal University of Uberlândia - UFU (2017), with a sandwich period at the University of Roehampton, England, where she studied Biological Sciences. During graduation, she developed projects from the areas of Genetics, Virology, Microbiology and Nanotechnology. Paula holds a Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences obtained at the São Paulo State University - UNESP (2020), with an emphasis on Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology and the development of controlled drug delivery systems. During master's, she took a research internship (BEPE) at the Laboratory of Molecular Cell Biology at KU Leuven, Belgium, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Patrick Van Dijck.
