Birthplace: Brazil

Physicist, expert in Data Science and time-series analysis. Has completed a postdoctorate at the Department of Population Health and Pathobiology at the College of Veterinary Medicine of the North Carolina State University, United States, where conducted research about complex systems applied to animal epidemiology. Has completed a post-doctorate at the Center for Research, Innovation and Dissemination in Neuromathematics (CEPID NeuroMat, FAPESP support), at the Institute of Computing at Unicamp, where applied methods of dynamic systems and complex systems in the analysis of electroencephalogram signals, identifying how different regions of the brain connect. Holds a PhD in Physics by the Institute for Complex Systems and Mathematical Biology (ICSMB) at the University of Aberdeen, UK, where used such theoretical tools for signal analysis in seismology and gravimetry and developed computational methodologies for inferring causal links. Holds a BSc in Physics from the Gleb Wataghin Institute of Physics at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), where collaborated with the optimization of a laser source for a Magneto-Optical Calcium Trap (GLA/IFGW/Unicamp, 2014) and, during an exchange program, with the development of a gravitational sensor based on cold atoms (University of Aberdeen, 2013). Volunteer researcher at the Laboratory of Social Studies and Research in Disasters (NEPED) at UFSCar since 2010, assisting in the analysis of official disaster records and collaborating in the collection of field and documentary data in Brazil and abroad.
