PhD at the School of Public Health, The University of Sydney, Australia, Master's degree at Universidade Cidade de São Paulo and a degree in Physiotherapy from Centro Universitário São Camilo. He is currently a permanent professor in the Master's and Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy at Universidade Cidade de São Paulo, associate researcher at the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health, The University of Sydney and a research fellow at the Center for Pain, Health and Lifestyle (centrephl.org). He is an associate editor on BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders and Cochrane Collaboration (Back and Neck group). Co-leader of the collaborative network for early career researchers (theicecreamblog.com), member of the research group "Pesquisa em Dor" (pesquisaemdor.com.br) and co-creator of the blog PEDrinho, linked to the PEDro database. The current focus of his research is on interventions for chronic pain, particularly remote interventions and e-health. Bruno has published more than 80 scientific articles in national and international journals as well as citations in clinical practice guidelines (H ISI index: 18, Scopus: 18, GScholar: 22). One of his studies was recently named by the Annals of Internal Medicine as one of the 8 most important studies in the world in the year 2016. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
