Suellyn da Silva Emerick Garcia

Master's student in the Scientific and Cultural Dissemination Program at the Laboratory for Advanced Studies in Journalism at the State University of Campinas (Labjor - Unicamp). Degree in Geosciences and Environmental Education (2019) from the Institute of Geosciences of the University of São Paulo (IGC-USP). Graduated in Office Automation and Secretarial (2006) from the Faculty of Technology of São Paulo (FATEC-SP). Internship as a monitor (2012-2015) in environmental activities at the Science and Technology Park of the University of São Paulo (Cientec-USP). He worked and did research at the IGC-USP Karst Systems Laboratory for 5 years (2014 - 2019), working mainly on the following topics: Applied Isotopic Geochemistry, Paleoclimatology and Climate Change. Currently studying forms of communication about Climate Change through science fiction/climate fiction literature and cinema, with a focus on education and scientific dissemination.
