Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Estadual Paulista " Julio de Mesquita Filho " campus Solteira ( UNESP / FEIS ) ; Master from the same institution in the Solids Mechanics area; Doctor from the University of São Paulo ( USP / EESC) in System Dynamics area . He is currently Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar ) . In recent years, He has been conducting research on the following topics: Smart Materials, Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) , vibration -based Energy Harvesting Systems, signal processing and analysis , vibration control and structural modeling.
