Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and a master's degree in Biotechnology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB) of the University of São Paulo (USP). Specialization in Clinical Microbiology by the Brazilian Society of Microbiology (SBM) and professionalization in Clinical Research by the São Paulo Center for Clinical Research (Cepic). Scientific area of activity: Microbiology, Immunology, Oncology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, both with an emphasis on Pathogen-Host Cell interaction, as well as in immunotherapies for tumors associated with microorganisms.
