Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Faculdade de Engenharia Civil, Arquitetura e Urbanismo (FEC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Nicarágua

Postdoctoral Research Associate at the EXA Group Energy and Environmental Simulation within the Mechanical Engineering Graduate Program at the Polytechnic School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR). Her current research, supervised by Professor Nathan Mendes, focuses on developing future climate files and thermo-energetic simulations at an urban scale. This work considers both microclimatic aspects and climate change trends, aiming to provide tools for energy efficiency policy development.Formerly, she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the School of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Urban Design at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil. Prior to her time at UNICAMP, she served as a visiting researcher in building performance at the Department of the Built Environment, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), and at the Energy Systems Research Unit, University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. Her research in these roles focused on automating a performance-based validation method for climatic zoning using Building Energy Simulation (BES) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).She holds a PhD from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil, a Master's degree in Environmental Comfort for Architecture and Urbanism from the National School of Architecture and Landscape of Bordeaux, in partnership with the University of Bordeaux I (France), and a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the National University of Engineering in Nicaragua.
