Monique Marques Nogueira Lima

The researcher, who is a scholar linked to the São Paulo State Research Support Foundation - FAPESP -, is a doctoral student in the Postgraduate Program in History and Social Culture at Paulista State University, UNESP, campus of Franca / SP - Brazil, where he also completed his master's degree (2016). In 2018, he held an internship at the History Center of the University of Lisbon, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. José Manuel Damião S. Rodrigues. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ricardo Alexandre Ferreira, develops research that aims to analyze the cases of Africans, slaves and freedmen, processed by the Portuguese Holy Office in the Portuguese-American space. In addition, it also researches the following subjects: history of norms and transgressions; modern slavery; Portuguese Inquisition. It is also linked to the research group Writings on the new worlds: a history of the construction of moral values in Portuguese language, supported by FAPESP, and was a staging firm in 2013 at CEDAPH (Center for Documentation and Support for Historical Research). ), allocated at UNESP, in France.
