Heitor S. Ramos is at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, UFMG, Brazil, as an Associate Professor. His research interests rely on wireless networks, sensors networks, mobile and ad hoc networks, ubiquitous and pervasive computing, and vehicular networks. He pubilshed 20+ refeered scientific papers and received the best paper award at the The ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems - Sensys in 2012 with the article "Energy efficient GPS sensing with cloud offloading".
