Birthplace: Brazil

A Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering department at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, specializing in heterogeneous catalysis and carbon capture and use technologies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Paulo. During his undergraduate years, he worked as undergraduate researcher in catalysis and organic synthesis. He has earned a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. As an FAPESP fellow and collaborator of the 4AirCRAFT project (https://4aircraft-project.eu/), he conducted research on catalyst development and kinetic assessment for synthetic fuel production. Furthermore, he served as a graduate visiting student in the Chemistry Department of the University of Helsinki, Finland, focusing on the controlled synthesis of nano-catalysts and plasmonic catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and water splitting reactions. In his ongoing Ph.D., he is dedicated to exploring technological routes for the conversion of CO2 into C2+ products in collaboration with Braskem and the Research Center for Gas Innovation at USP.
