Birthplace: Brazil

A Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering department at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, specializing in heterogeneous catalysis and carbon capture and use technologies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Paulo. During his undergraduate years, he worked as undergraduate researcher in catalysis and organic synthesis. He has earned a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. As an FAPESP fellow and collaborator of the 4AirCRAFT project (, he conducted research on catalyst development and kinetic assessment for synthetic fuel production. Furthermore, he served as a graduate visiting student in the Chemistry Department of the University of Helsinki, Finland, focusing on the controlled synthesis of nano-catalysts and plasmonic catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and water splitting reactions. In his ongoing Ph.D., he is dedicated to exploring technological routes for the conversion of CO2 into C2+ products in collaboration with Braskem and the Research Center for Gas Innovation at USP.
