Graduated in Psychology from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1985), Master degree in Psychology from Universidade de Brasilia (1993) and PhD in Psychology (Neurosciences and Behavior) from Universidade de São Paulo (2003). Adjunct Professor, Department of Psychobiology, EPM / Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP). Supervisor at Graduate Program in Education and Health in Childhood and Adolescence, Campus Guarulhos UNIFESP. Currently coordinator of the Neuropsychology field of National Association for Research and Post-graduation in Psychology (ANPEPP). Member of the board of the Brazilian Institute of Neuropsychology and Behavior, IBENeC. His research focuses on the areas of Cognitive Psychology and Developmental Neuropsychology, with emphasis on the following topics: Neurodevelopmental Disorders (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, learning disorders), Behavior Genetics (investigation of the neuropsychological and behavioral phenotype In malfomative syndromes of genetic origin), Neuropsychology and endocrinology (influence of hormonal changes on cognitive development), Neuropsychological Assessment, Development and adaptation of neuropsychological tests.
