Member of the Lab of Bioproducts at the University of São Paulo and the PRIBOP CYTED Iberoamerican Network on Biopolymers and other bioproducts. Research topics include bacterial metabolism, metabolic flux analysis, biosyntheses of biodegradable plastics and elastomeric materials, mainly polyhydroaxyalkanoates, other bacterial byproducts from biomass, use of hemicelulosic materials do generate byproducts and search for alternate biological platforms to synthesize new bioproducts (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
