Clever Briedis

Graduated in Agronomy (2007) and Master in Agronomy (2010) from the State University of Ponta Grossa. He has doctorate degree in agronomy by UEPG, with period at The Ohio State University (USA). He developed a postdoctoral work at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and at Embrapa Instrumentação Agropecuária, with a training period at CSIRO (Australia). He was a temporary lecturer at the State University of Ponta Grossa in the area of Soil Fertility. He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Agronomy at the Federal University of Viçosa in the area of Agricultural Techniques for Soil and Water Management and Conservation. He has experience in soils use and management, especially in management systems and soil organic matter (SOM), acting specially on the following topics: crop residues decomposition, carbon sequestration in management systems, soil organic carbon stabilization and SOM fractionation.
