As an undergraduated, has conducted two research projects in palaeontology, one of them concerning the recent record, evaluating predation rates in echinoids of the brazilian shelf, and other one concerning fossil bivalves of the Crato Formation, Araripe Basin, also with financial aid of FAPESP.Also as an undergraduate, has had contact with areas such as Animal Genetics and Behaviour.
