Damantha Barbarella Siqueira is an undergraduate student in Language Arts (Portuguese and German) of UNESP-Assis (2016). She received a junior research scholarship under the supervision of Dr. Paulo Cesar Andrade da Silva. Her study The presence of the grotesque and nonsense poetry of Sebastião Uchoa Leite and Christian Morgenstern was conducted under the project Ruptures and Alliances: The modernist legacy in contemporary Brazilian poetry (1980 -2010), with financial support of CNPq (Brazilian National Research Council). Damantha is a member GELIC - Study Group on Contemporary Literature, registered at CNPq. She was an exchange student in the course of Sprach- Literatur- und Kulturwissenschaften at the University of Regensburg (Wintersemester) with the support of AREX/UNESP. Currently, she holds a scholarship as a student-teacher of German at the Center for Languages and Teacher Development UNESP- Assis. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
