Abstract
T regulatory (Tregs) and T helper 17 (Th17) cells have distinct roles on autoimmune diseases development. Tregs are responsible for controlling homeostasis and immune tolerance, while Th17 cells are self-reactive lymphocytes that orchestrate tissue injury.
