Assistant Professor (MS-3.2) of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, works in the areas of physiology, biochemistry, biotechnology and metabolic engineering of microorganisms. He has a degree in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo (2003) and a master's degree in Biotechnology, under the guidance of Prof. Graeme Walker, from the University of Abertay, Scotland (2005). PhD in Sciences (2011) from the University of São Paulo, carried out the experimental part of the project at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. Between September 2009 and August 2010, he completed a sandwich internship under the supervision of Professor Jack Pronk, at Delft University of Technology, Netherlands. Between 2011 and 2015, he held the position of Senior Scientist at the Danish biotechnology company Novozymes (now Novonesis), in the Research and Development Department. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
