Scientific Researcher level V at the Laboratory of Investigation in Ophthalmology - LIM33 of the School of Medicine at the University of São Paulo (FMUSP). Specialized in Molecular Biology, master's degree in Sciences from the Clinical Medicine Program at the FMUSP (2006), doctorate in Sciences from the Pathology Program at the FMUSP (2010), and postdoctoral at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB) at the University of São Paulo (2020). I obtained a grant from FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation) from 2019 to 2022 and I was the manager of FAPESP (11/12271-3) and CNPq (476392/2011-0) projects from 2011 to 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Mário Luiz Ribeiro Monteiro. My cientific work encompasses the study of the effects of air pollution on health, with a focus on the ocular surface and retina, as well as the study of anti-VEGF agents in retinal vascular diseases, utilizing in vitro observations and animal experiments.
