Secretaria da Saúde (São Paulo - Estado). Instituto Butantan  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" and a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry) from the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo. I am currently a doctoral student in the Biochemistry Program at the Institute of Chemistry at the University of São Paulo.During the period of my graduation I was part of the extension project "Vital Brazil: prevenção de acidentes por animais peçonhentos", where I developed and illustrated a series of six comic books aimed at raising awareness among public elementary school students about the ways of prevention and first aid to accidents involving venomous animals.Currently my main professional interests are: the historical development of the epistemological and ontological aspects of scientific theories and concepts; the possible relationships between the perspective of developing systems and the teaching/learning process in science; and the parallels between the evolution of physical, biological and social systems.
