Graduated in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Alfenas - MG. MD and Ph.D. in Basic and Applied Immunology with emphasis on Virology at the University of São Paulo - SP. Currently as a Posdoc researcher in Molecular Immunology lab at Rockefeller University - NY under supervision of Prof. Michel C. Nussenzweig. Has experience in the field of Basic and applied virology, developing and evaluating diagnostic methods, vaccines, prospecting and characterizing new viruses, mapping and characterizing antibodies, and studying the humoral and cellular immune response during viral diseases.
