Saeid Asadzadeh received the B.Sc. degree in mineral exploration from Sahand University of Technology (Iran) in 2002, the M.Sc. degree in mineral exploration from AmirKabir University of Technology (Iran) in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in geologic remote sensing from the University of Campinas (Brazil) in 2018. Between 2005 and 2013, he was involved in numerous exploration activities and was instrumental in the discovery of several mineral deposits including three previously unknown porphyry Cu-Au mineralizations. During his doctorate, he received several awards for innovation in petroleum remote sensing and won the CAPES?s 'best thesis award' in the area of geosciences in 2019. His research interests include multi-, and hyperspectral remote sensing applied to mineral and energy (hydrocarbon, geothermal) exploration, geologic studies, and environmental monitoring.
