Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (FMRP)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Chemistry (2016) and a Master's degree in Sciences (Chemistry, 2019) from FFCLRP/USP. During the initial undergraduate program (February to July 2013), undertook an exchange in the Chemistry Teaching program at the School of Sciences of the University of Minho-Braga-PT, with the support of the International Exchange Scholarship Program of the University of São Paulo, being recognized in the Academic Merit category. Also holds a degree in Biology (2019) from Claretiano. Through a double degree agreement with a foreign institution, obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (2023) from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (UTV, Rome, Italy). Supervised by professors Ana Paula Ramos (FFCLRP/USP) and Massimo Bottini (UTV), the research focuses on the Biochemistry and Physical Chemistry of Surfaces, with emphasis on the development of an in vitro 3D cell culture model. The objective is to investigate the biochemical processes involved in bone mineralization. The research project aims to create a 3D model inspired by the organic composition of the native extracellular matrix to assess the influence of this matrix on the activity of mineralizing cells, both in physiological and pathological conditions. Recently, the focus has been on characterizing the biochemical and biophysical properties of extracellular vesicles released during physiological and ectopic mineralization processes, exploring the interaction of these vesicles with a biomimetic extracellular matrix to replicate these biological processes in vitro. Throughout the academic journey, received various distinctions for presentations at scientific events. Received two honorable mentions at the Showcasing Highlights of the International Symposium on Scientific and Technological Initiation of USP SIICUSP (2015 and 2016). Stood out by receiving the Bernhard Gross Award for the best poster presentation at the XVII Brazil MRS Meeting (B-MRS, 2018) and the Best Poster Award at the 6th Meeting on Self-Organized Structures in Solutions and Interfaces (AUTOORG, 2018). Work was recognized with the Outstanding Award at the I Symposium on Research and Innovation in Functional Materials (SPIMF, 2019), in addition to the Best Poster Award at the 11th International Colloids Conference (2022). Recently, was honored with the Honorary Best Poster Presentation Award by the Brazilian Biophysical Society (SBBf, 2023). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
