In the Ecological Station of Mogi-Guaçú (EEcMG), located in the State of São Paulo, is found a remnant of Riparian Forest that accompanies the Mogi Guaçu river, where there is an accumulation of vegetal material, particularly leaves, that are present in leaf litter and in litters of macroremains deposited on the riverbank.
