Graduated in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1994) and Master's Degree in Nuclear Technology from Universidade de São Paulo (1998), Ph.D. in Nuclear Technology from Universidade de São Paulo (2008). In addition, he is a Quality Engineer from the University of São Paulo (1996) with an emphasis on Quality Systems ISO 9000 and ISO 14000. He is currently a senior technologist at the National Nuclear Energy Commission and a professor at the Post-Graduate Course in Nuclear Technology at the University of São Paulo and at the Post-Graduate Course in Radiation Technology in Health Sciences at IPEN / CNEN. He is the current Manager of the Radiation Technology Center at IPEN / CNEN He has experience in the field of Nuclear Engineering, with an emphasis on Post Irradiation Examinations of fuels and the production of radioactive sources for industry and for the treatment of cancer. He advises master's and doctoral students working mainly on the following topics: dosimetry, nuclear fuel, brachytherapy, plate-type fuel, iodine-125 seeds and sources of iridium-192 for cancer treatment.
