Holds a degree in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from Universidade Paulista campus Limeira (2012) and completed the postgraduate course in Science and Technology/Chemistry (master level) at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), having developed projects related to methods of computational chemistry and 3D QSAR techniques for the study of inhibitors of the TGF- type 1 receptor (ALK5). Ph.D. in Science and Technology/Chemistry from Universidade Federal do ABC, where he was a FAPESP Fellow and developed projects related to molecular dynamics studies, hybrid methods (QM/MM - ONIOM), and theoretical chemistry methods (NBO and QTAIM) of TGF- type 1(ALK5) receptor inhibitors. Currently doing post-doctoral training with a FAPESP scholarship at the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos (IQSC-USP) under the supervision of Professor Dr. Marcos Roberto de Vasconcelos Lanza, where methods of computational chemistry are being applied to study the electrochemical degradation of endocrine disruptors. He also did a post-doctoral internship abroad with a BEPE-FAPESP grant under Prof. Francesc Illas Riera and Dr. Federico Calle Vallejo, where he is applying computational methods in studying carbon materials for hydrogen peroxide electrogeneration. He has experience in the following areas: computational FTIR, UV/VIS calculations, molecular dynamics simulations, free energy calculations of protein-ligand systems, applying quantum chemistry to the electronic structure of drug candidate molecules, and studying endocrine disruptor degradation in the presence of radicals.
