Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Critical Race and Ethnic Studies at St. John's University. She is also a researcher at the Center for the Study of Violence at the University of São Paulo (NEV/USP). She holds a Master in Sociology and joined USP?s Department of Sociology doctoral programme after being awarded a FAPESP full-scholarship. Letícia has written on policing practices, police training, social disparities, and consequences of digital technology use.
