Postdoctoral researcher in the field of Microbiology applied to Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, at the Pluridisciplinary Center for Chemical, Biological and Agricultural Research, State University of Campinas (CPQBA / Unicamp). PhD in Hydraulics and Sanitary Engineering, University of São Paulo (USP). Master in Sanitation, Environment and Water Resources by the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), and Biologist (Bachelor and Licensed) by UFMG. I have worked with public and private entities in the elaboration of municipal sanitation plans, in the construction of socioeconomic and environmental indicators related to basic sanitation, and in sanitary sewage plans in hydrographic basins in the state of Minas Gerais. I develop research in the Biological Treatment of Wastewater, working mainly on the following topics: design of reactor configurations, biological production of hydrogen and methane, and microbiological prospecting.
