Currently I am a professor at the Cosmic Rays department of the Istituto de Fisica Gleb Wataghin, State University of Campinas, Sao Paulo, Brasil. My specialties are phenomenology of heavy ion collisions, relativistic hydrodynamics and statistical mechanics, QCD, and strongly coupled systems. I did my first degree at Oxford University (UK) in 1997, a masters at the University of Birmingham (2000), a PhD at the University of Arizona (2004), and postdoctoral appointments at McGill University (2005), JW Goethe Universitat in Frankfurt (2007) and Columbia University in New York (2010) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
