CV Lattes

Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (FMRP)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry at the Federal University of São João Del-Rei. I did my master's degree and my PhD in biochemistry at the University of São Paulo in the lab of Prof. Claudio M. Costa Neto, where we studied the function, signal transduction and structure of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). During the PhD, I did a full year internship in the laboratory of the Prof. Michel Bouvier at the University of Montreal in Canada, where I worked on the development and characterization of BRET biosensors in order to study the role of membrane micro domains as "lipid rafts" in the GPCR signal transduction.
