Samara Carbone

Bachelor in Chemical Engineering at Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM, Brazil), Master of Science in Meteorology at University of São Paulo (USP, Brazil), PhD in Physics at University of Helsinki (UH, Finland) and Post-doctoral in Physics at University of São Paulo (IF-USP, Brazil). Now, Samara is an Environmental Engineering Professor at Agricultural Sciences Institute of the Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU, Brazil). She investigates physical and chemical properties of aerosol particles. Amongst the instrumentation used are the Aerodyne mass spectrometers models, Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitor (quadruple and time-of-flight, ACSMs), and the Soot-particle Aerosol Mass Spectrometer (SP-AMS).
