She is a Systems Engineer, obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degree at Universidad Industrial de Santander, Colombia. She has experience in the area of software engineering for software intensive systems, specifically for Systems-of-Systems. Her research interests are software architecture, reference architecture, quality of software. She has acted in domains of Telemedicine, e-Health, Ambient Assisted Living, Healthcare Supportive Home, and critical embedded systems. She made studies at international level about Design thinking, technology based entrepreneurship, business planning. She has led software development projects for public health systems.
