Grace Angélica de Oliveira Gomes

She is graduated in Physical Education, Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2004), Masters in Gerontology from the University of Campinas (2008) and holds a doctorate in Sciences Motricity at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio Mesquita Filho (UNESP). She carried out a doctorate in Sandwich Center for Disease Prevention in the USA. Currently, she is professor the Gerontology Faculty at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR) and visiting professor at University of Queensland, Australia. She has experience in Physical Education and Gerontology, with an emphasis on the field healthy ageing. The focus of her activities is on the theme of lifestyle, public health and ageing. Conducts research in the areas of health prevention and promotion, costs of health services, interventions in primary health care and prevention of frailty in the older adults.
