Ricardo dos Santos Medeiros

Graduated in Chemistry from the Faculty of Science and Technology - UNESP - Presidente Prudente Campus. Master in science from the São Carlos Chemistry Institute - USP, in the area of #8203;#8203;concentration Analytical and Inorganic Chemistry (2019). PhD in science from the São Carlos Chemistry Institute - USP, in the area of #8203;#8203;Analytical and Inorganic Chemistry. (2023) I completed an internship at the Chemistry and Biology Laboratory Center of FCT -UNESP, carrying out activities such as setting up and monitoring experimental classes, period 2016. In the period 2014-2015 I carried out scientific initiation work at the Fine Organic Chemistry Laboratory, being a FAPESP scholarship holder. In the period 2013-2014 I carried out extension work, being a monitor for the subjects: General Chemistry I and II; Experimental Chemistry I and II offered within the curriculum of the FCT Chemistry Degree Course. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Analytical Chemistry, with an emphasis on the preparation of chitosan and derivatives, in spectroscopic characterization techniques (NMR, FTIR, UV-Vis, XRD), in thermoanalytical techniques (TGA, DSC, DMA), in mechanical tests, in chromatography (HPLC), in synthesis of polyurethenes derived from castor oil and composites, in physicochemical and morphological characterization. He has experience in studying the thermal behavior of anti-inflammatories and polymorphism. He has experience in preparing a colorimetric sensor using nanotechnology and characterization using the techniques of colorimetry, zeta potential, microscopy (SEM-EDS and SEM-FEG), gas chromatography), which is applied to monitor the quality of climacteric fruits due to ethylene emission.
