Achieved a bachelor in Computer Science at Federal University of Bahia - UFBA (2008) where he researched QoS and Distributed Systems during my scientific initiation (FAPESB/PIBIC/UFBA, 2007). Undertook a graduate certificate in the theoretical and practical aspects of Distributed Systems at UFBA (2009), where he researched Medium Accesss Control Protocols for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). Obtained a Master's degree in Mechatronics at UFBA (2012) where he researched Topology Control Algorithms for WSN and Graph Theory related problems. Achieved a PhD degree in Computer Science at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of University of São Paulo - IME-USP (2018) under the supervisor of Professor Yoshiko Wakabayashi. His research interests are Combinatorial Optimization and Graph Theory. Hugo Braga was member of Combinatorics and Combinatorial Optimization Research Group.
